ECR Self/360 For Coaches and Administrators

1. Why can’t I access a report for my candidate, even though I’ve had an email to say it’s completed?

Click on the “Coach” tab in your EQ Store and scroll to the bottom of the page where you’ll find the most recently completed ECRs.

2. My candidate says they have completed their ECR Self and that their raters have completed too.  But the ECR I created for them is showing as unused, therefore I cannot see any raters in there. What should I do?

Ans:

Check with the candidate that they have definitely completed their ECR Self.

Also make sure they did not misunderstand the instructions they were supplied with.  Sometimes candidates send the pre-mail to their raters, letting them know to expect an invite.  Then candidates can forget about having done this, and think they have already sent the invites.

3. My candidate has invited raters to an old ECR 360, not their latest one. Can the raters be transferred to the latest one?

Yes. Please contact us at contact@rochemartin.com, letting us know the name and email of your candidate.

4. Is it possible to upgrade an individual / several individuals (from the same cohort) from an ECR to a 360?  If so; how do I do that?

Yes.  Please contact us at contact@rochemartin.com, letting us know the name(s) and email(s) of the candidate(s) you wish to upgrade.

5. Is it possible to turn an ECR Selection Report into an ECR 360.

Unfortunately it is not possible to turn a Selection Report into an ECR 360 as they are separate tools.  Please contact us at contact@rochemartin.com, if you require further assistance.

6. My candidate has invited raters to three different ECR 360s (two old ones and one new one).  Can raters be transferred to the newest one?

Yes. Please contact us at contact@rochemartin.com, letting us know the name and email of your candidate.

7. Some of my candidate’s raters wish to complete their assessment in different languages.  Will this impact anonymity?

It is advisable for all raters to complete their rater assessments in the same language, unless they are the Manager of the candidate.

8. What are the Rater Definitions?

Manager individual (or individuals) who hold a senior position, ideally the person to whom your candidate reports directly.

Peers colleagues who hold a similar position in the organisation to your candidate.

Direct Reports individuals who report directly to your candidate or for whom your candidate has a supervisory capacity.

Others e.g. other stakeholders, customers, from current and previous businesses, etc.

9. Who would be classed as a Direct Report?

Individuals who either report directly to your candidate, or for whom your candidate has a supervisory capacity.

10. Is a Direct Report someone whom your candidate reports to?

No. Individuals in the Direct Report category are people who either report directly to your candidate, or for whom your candidate has a supervisory capacity.

11. My candidate has no Managers.  Can they still take an ECR 360?

Yes.  Try to ensure they have three or more raters in each of the other categories.

12. Can my candidate invite more than 3 raters per category?

Yes.  We would recommend between 3-6 per category, where possible. There is no upper limit.

13. Is there a limit to how many raters my candidate can invite?

No.  However, we would recommend between 3-6 per category, where possible.

14. Can my candidate invite more than 1 Manager?

Yes.

15. What is the minimum recommended number of raters for an ECR 360?

1 Manager, 3 Peers, 3 Direct Reports, 3 Other.

16. My candidate has completed their ECR 360 but I cannot find it. Where is it?

  • Your candidate may not have input your name as coach, which means you cannot access it via the Coach area, but you can still access via the “Manage Assessments” area.  If you cannot see the candidate via the “Manage Assessments” area, see “b” below.
  • Your candidate may have accessed the link, and used a different email to set up their account.  Different from that which they originally supplied you with. Please contact us at contact@rochemartin.com for further assistance with this. 

17. My candidate and their raters have all finished their ECR 360, but it will not let me download due to insufficient raters.  What should I do?

Check that your candidate has invited sufficient raters to each category.

If not; ask them to invite more.  If they do not have more, consider whether some raters can be moved to another category.  For further advice please contact us at contact@rochemartin.com.

If your candidate has invited sufficient raters but not enough of them have completed, either you or your candidate will need to follow-up with the raters.

18. May I change a person from one category to another?

Yes.  Please see the walk-through on how to do this.

19. May I delete a rater?

You may delete a rater from your candidate’s 360 raters within the “Manage Assessments” area - only if the rater has not started the assessment.  If they have started or completed it, please contact us at contact@rochemartin.com for further assistance.

20. Can the 360 be run with 1 person in each category?

No. The ECR 360 is a multi-rater edition of the ECR (Emotional Capital Report).

21. My candidate’s name is incorrect on their report.  Can this be corrected?

22. My candidate has scored 130 across almost every competency.  Is the report invalid?

23. My candidate has scored 70 across almost every competency.  Is the report invalid?
